City of Bowling Green, Ohio

Bowling Green Water Treatment Plant Integrated Membrane System. Designed the expansion of a traditional/GAC treatment plant to add RO process, including mechanical and civil drawings. Designed in 3D using solid modeling and QuickPen PipeDesigner3D parametric drawing routines.

City of Cocoa Beach: Capital Improvement Projects

Created Proposed Bioretention Landscaping Plan, Proposed Exfiltration Conceptual Layout, and Sediment Trap Conceptual Layouts for presentation by client.

City of Crystal River: Jim LeGrone Park Expansion

Civil construction plans including proposed park facility additions, proposed sidewalks, ball field irrigation and backstop addition details, and basketball and handball court marking details.

City of Melbourne: Well #4

Designed the groundwater supply well using a 3D model. The 3D model was used for design drawings and to illustrate the architectural match of the design with other well stations in the City.

City of Oviedo: Water Mains

• Kingsbridge West Reclaimed Water Main. Plan & Profile design drawings for the design and installation of 2900 feet of reclaimed water main.
• Kingsbridge West/Lake Rogers Reclaimed Water Main. Plan & Profile design drawings for the design and installation of 8500 feet of reclaimed water main.

City of Port St Lucie: Rangeline Road WTP Water Repump Station

Designed a 4.0 MGD repump station/future WTP including mechanical and civil drawings of the pump building, chemical storage and injection building, generator building, ground storage tank, and yard piping. 3D construction models were used for design, visualization, client review, and conflict detection.

City of Port St Lucie: Southport Repump Station Expansion

Designed the expansion of the repump station from 0.3 to 3.0 MGD. The design included the addition of a new pump building, a 3.0 MG ground storage tank, a tank fill assembly, and a chemical injection pit. Drawings included full plans, sections, details, and a 3D model used for isometric and elevation views. The 3D model was also used to create conceptual renderings for the client.

City of Port St Lucie: Midport Repump Station Expansion

Designed the expansion of the repump station including the addition the MCC room, the addition of a chemical treatment building, and yard piping. The existing site was constructed in 3D to streamline the addition of new pumps and yard piping and eliminate piping and equipment conflicts. The 3D model was also used for site layout visualization and client review.

City of St Cloud: Northeast Booster Water Repump Station

Designed a 0.75 MGD repump station including mechanical drawings of the pump & chemical storage and injection building, generator pad, ground storage tank, and yard piping. 3D models were used for design, visualization, client review, and conflict detection.

City of St Cloud: St. Cloud Water Treatment Plant 1

Design of the first indoor MIEX Process Treatment Plant in Florida. Direct responsibility for all Process Mechanical drawings, ground storage tank design, and yard piping. 3D models were used for design, visualization, client review and interdisciplinary coordination. Complete drawing coordination between all disciplines was also required for production.

City of Tampa: Interbay Pump Station Improvements

Designed the expansion and retrofit of the pump station. The existing pump station was modeled in 3D to provide for the addition of new piping, pumps, meter vaults, and building improvements while eliminating conflicts using the 3D model.

Core Communities/EDC

Conceptual design of the Tradition master wastewater inline booster pumping station design. The design involved creating a 3D model of a conceptual layout for the pumping station. Details in the model included the building layout with roll-up doors, decorative exterior finishes, various decorative perimeter fences and walls, a lift station with pumps, manifolded booster pumps and service crane, emergency generator and fuel storage, electrical control room and conduit to pumps, and exterior concealing landscaping and concrete paving. The 3D model was used to render multiple scenes from various angles and elevations to illustrate the seamless integration of the building into the surrounding development.

Islamorada, Village of Islands: Plantation Key Colony/North Plantation Key WWTF

Designed a 250 kgd wastewater treatment facility for the Village of Islamorada. Design included an operation/vacuum pump/MCC building, vacuum collection tanks, odor control, treatment facility, chlorine contact chamber, rinse storage tank, and pumping station. A 3D construction model was used for design, visualization, conflict detection, and client review meetings.

Islamorada, Village of Islands: Phase II Vacuum Collection System

Organized and managed the design of a 4-phase wastewater vacuum collection system.

Islamorada, Village of Islands: Phase II Vacuum Collection System Remote Pump Station

Designed the pump station using a 3D model to accurately locate and visualize the system on a topographically complex and visually sensitive public property in the city. The system was designed to visually and audibly mask pumps from public view. Multiple options were rendered into real site photographs for client selection.

St. Lucie West Services District

Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant expansion. Designed the expansion and retrofit of the existing facility to an additional 3.4 MGD capacity. Design included the addition of odor control, additional ground storage, and landscaping irrigation storage and treatment. Drawings included digitizing the existing facility in AutoCAD from hand-drawn as-builts and hand measurements of the facility since no previous electronic drawings existed. The digitizing resulted in a complete facility drawing from existing and proposed groundwater extraction wells, through the plant, to the concentrate injection well in plan, sections, details, and a complete 3D model that was used for isometric and elevation views, as well as conceptual renderings.

Cummins Engine Company - Rocky Mountain District

Wastewater Management System upgrades for the Gillette, Wyoming and Grand Junction, Colorado facilities. Isometric layouts and details of the wastewater plants, sump details and 3D details of the sump liner construction.

Cummins Engine Company - Mid-Canada District

Phase I and II Environmental Assessment and Sampling maps for the Kenora, ON, Lloydminster, SK, Regina, SK, Saskatoon, SK, and Winnipeg, MB facilities.

Cytec Industries

Ammonia Stripping Facility design. Created Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, optimized layout of piping, equipment, tanks, and pumps using schedules of pumps, tanks, and piping criteria, and specific instruction from the project engineer explaining the chemical and flow process. Created numerous elevation and isometric details.

FMC Lakeland

Created multiple Air Sparging System well and piping layouts. Requirements included arranging air sparging wells with minimum radius-of-influence overlap and minimum pipe crossing for a 3-zone and 2-zone system.

LCP Chemical

Horizontal well layout and vault construction details. Drawings include details in plan, profile, isometric, and 3D views, depicting construction criteria and minimum angles for access clearance to well ends. 3-D views and renderings include cutaways detailing internal construction and rebar placement.

North Reverse Osmosis WTP Improvements

Record drawings including overall & piping plans, details, block diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping & instrumentation diagrams.

Tropicana, Ft. Pierce

Wastewater treatment plant design. Created Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams conforming to strict standards set forth by Fru-Con, Tropicana’s lead design firm. Maintained those standards while also creating optimized layouts of piping, equipment and tanks using only a base earthworks map, schedules of tank, pipe, and fittings, and specific baseline instructions from the project engineer. Also created elevation and isometric details and delegated tasks to CAD operators utilizing their specific skills.

South Seminole & North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority (SSNOCWTA)

Transmission system record drawings and mapping, emergency response management, pump station rehabilitation design drawings, and Aloma Avenue Force Main replacement drawings.

City of Davenport

Design & layout of the gravity sanitary sewer collection system to transition the City from septic tank to sewer system. Collection system included over 7,500’ of gravity and force mains, over 75 manholes, and 5 pump stations.

Private Client: Design Guidelines

Developed, trained staff, and implemented corporate standards and design guidelines for CAD and GIS production, database design, and GPS data collection and management.

AEREX Industries

Thermex Treatment Skid 3D Design. Modeled filter, chemical, transfer pump, and CIP skids in 3D including detailed steelwork and electrical panels and conduit for use in a nuclear power plant drain water treatment.
